Camelford 1 Plymouth Parkway 7
Plymouth Parkway gave notice that promotion to the Premier Division is their number one priority with this remarkable first victory
Indeed it became the Ross Avery show with the striker knocking in his teams first four goals
Parkway took five minutes to score on a superb pitch when Avery ran across the edge of the penalty area before unleashing an unstoppable shot.
Danny Worth then struck the home upright after a superb run, before Clive Allen thumped the ball into the net from eight yards to equalise.
Avery made it 2 - 1 on the half hour mark with a header before knocking in his next two before half time. Camelford pressed in the second half but it was Dean Smith who slotted in the fifth goal.
Andy Harris beat two players before scoring with a fierce cross shot with Smith wrapping up the scoring with five minutes remaining.
Camelford had their chances but the woodwork denied both Chris Allen and Dan Paul.
Camelford Manager Paul Hicks said "They outclassed us"
